While dreaming about the eventuality of the ceasing of our Seattle rainy days I was pondering over what I actually would do when the sun comes out to stay (at least for a month or two). One of my loves is relaxing (read: defrosting) on the front porch with a good book in hand. My dear house is in dire need of painting and the porch has suffered just as much. At the moment, it is bare, worn and has spots of bird droppings because of the poorly placed bird feeder this spring. Looking for inspiration, I came across these lovely homes and fabulous decor ideas. I will post before and after photos once my little shack of a porch has been made over to the diva that she aspires to.
