Have a Wonderful Day!
We hear this phrase many times. It's heard so often that we sometimes don't take it's meaning to heart. Recently, I was privileged to hear a discourse on how to cope with the problems life throws at us. One sage advice that was considered was prayer and unburdening our heart and concerns along with meditating on our blessings. The illustration given was of a scale. One arm was lowered with difficulties and anxieties, then the beautiful and valuable things in our lives were enumerated. They far outweighed the things that disquieted us. By the time the list was complete, problems faded into the background, our hearts were lighter and peace reigned supreme. Today, count the blessings in your life, no matter how small. Know that you matter in someone's life. Make sure they know you feel the same about them. - Philippians 4:6,7
